Sounds brutal as hell... really didnt pay too much attention to it, but as long as it doesnt harm the motor then it should be alright... but is there any guarantee that it wont cause engine damage ? every dealership is different and wouldnt want mine to be pulling a fast one one me ! laters !

So I had the Ester Oil and ECM job done in June (or 1400 miles ago). I took my car in last Thursday for a Service Engine Light. I asked the service manager since its been 4 months since my last oil change would he recommend servicing that as well. He told me its best to let the ester oil run for at least 6 months before changing it out.
Anyone else here the same thing?

G37x Sedan engine noise
Hi everyone, I have a 2009 G37x 4 door Sedan, only 7000k miles on it, and recently I noticed this clicking sound when I'm stopped at a light or when the car is stationary... I found this thread after doing some search on the internet. Today I took it to the local infiniti dealer for oil change and mentioned the ITB08-028 TSA. The mechanic checked out my car and said he heard the noise and was gonna do the ECM reprogramming. However, he came back later and told me that the ITB08-028 only applied to the G37 Coup. I was wondering if anyone out there with the G37 Sedan had the same clicking noise? and if so, how did your local infiniti dealership handle the problem? thanks!

At first i did notice that it shifted weird and felt not as quick and the first tank of gas afterwards went extremly quick. But now it seems to be back to normal.
Probably the computer learning my driving habits again.
Hope it stays sound free.

Anyone with this problem notice any difference with loss of power or decreased performance? I'm at 55k, 6-Manual, and started noticing a fast tapping noise, the higher I rev the faster it ticks. It's more noticeable when i have the clutch pushed in. Sounds like something's loose on the drivers side. I took apart the bumper and splash guard under car to see if anything was loose, started up the car revved it and still heard coming from the motor.
