Buying an FX : FX35 or FX45

I am Trying to get a SUV, do you guys have a recommandation which one I should get? Buying Price on matter but I heard FX45 engine has some minor problems. Moreover, is it worth to spend 10k more for 45 than 35?

I been debating this for a while, never heard of any problems (major ones) on fx45 engines. I think my wife and I are gonna seattle on the FX35 since its going to be a family Suv. Since it's her car... I really dont see why I need to spend 10k more when she's perfectly fine with the Fx35 =). I guess it all depends on why you are buying FX35... If its more power and grunt you want... Fx45 all the way, if power is not needed, 35 is very sufficient.

The ten grand isnt worth the small power difference. Especially if its your wifes car she'll never tell a difference. Hell if anything you get the 35 and spend 5 grand on FI and blow the doors off of a 45 . As for the problems you've heard of in the 45 .They tend to burn some oil. We've replaced 4 or 5 long blocks here and the dealership I work at for that problem.
