Also you might want to get you ECU reflashed to help with the idle with those injectors because like what was metioned before the utec does not work at idle and only kicks in fully when you are in boost.
Noone ever listens to me.

but dan you never said he could download a map off the net for the utec to get him to houston. even the instructions with the utec say not to use with anything other than your stock injectors with the preloaded maps.

CAR STARTED!!!! And no Booom!! .........But no I got a nice fuel leak @ the FPR. Should have it fixed tomorrow morning. Oh, and the UTEC install was so much fun and soooo easy. Once thats fixed, I then get to put the car back together again, and finish up Drew's.

No not the ones off the website. those are just base turbo maps. Mark at SGP can send you the maps in a file to Download on your utec. Last time I was at SGP Mark told me he had like over 1000+ maps I'm sure plenty of them are for SC'ed cars with the 440cc's. What sucks is that I'm the only PE kit in TX and mark had to make me a map from scratch and it took the rest of the day well into the night.

Dang mark 10 weeks?? Hopefully Jim will get you hooked up with one soon... as far as the vortec...

everything is bolted and ready...started it and it is running very rich and sounds like it missing and bogging down... i think i am dumping tooo much fuel in... we tried several of the base maps on the UTEC but none of them really did much... oh yeah and my fuel pressure is close to 70.... everyone is saying that i just need to get it tuned... any insight?

Let me see if I can get you one. So you have a vortec with a 3.12 pulley, 440cc. is that right?

Hey do you have a fuel return? You might need to addjust your regulator. Turn it down like a half turn untell it idles at about 50psi then tune it with the base map. I'm trying to get you one now. Also who is this? http://my350z.com/forum/showthread.p...=1#post3825157

Hes using the vortech Fmu, i think we just need to connect the fuel hose from the tank to the fuel hose to the fuel damper. So that its almost recirculating. Thats the way it was installed in mine.
