I was curious what your favorite drives in the G are. The more info, the better. I envision a thread that reads like a hiking manual for driving routes. Unfortunately, I don't have much to contribute except a trick I tried a few weeks ago which is why I want to see your answers.

The trick: I was in Westlake Village for a job and was ready to get home to the Fairfax District but wasn't in any hurry. I told the GPS to take me home but set it to avoid highways. It took me for a great canyon drive then down PCH. The drive across town from Santa Monica to home sucked but I kept reminding myself that the first hour of the drive made the last hour and a half worth it!

 

dang where should I start..my communte is not very long 20 mins tops so I try to make the best of it. I have a number of sections that I enjoy.. 5 southbound connector to the 110 southbound-curvy 2 lane uphill section that I always let loose(traffic permitting) 110 northbound connector to the 5 northbound curvy section there.
