coolant smell

I have owned a 2010 g37 convertible, for about 18 months now. Recently I have noticed what smells like coolant outside the car. (only every now and then) I took it to the infiniti dealership, they couldn't smell it and said levels were fine. Ive been looking every day for drips and not finding any. Today I took the engine cover off and found a hose that has been leaking. Could someone please tell me what this does and why it could possibly be leaking?
Thanks

Throttle body coolant line. It keeps your throttle body warm for cold situations. Although almost every car has one you can by pass it and it won't hurt anything. Just change the hose clamp on it and see if that fixes anything. I've found that those clamps do go out after awhile.

You might want to get those clamps with the screw on them. Tighten it down and it should be fine.

Did u just replaced hose straight? Or was there something you had to do.. Eg: stop bleeder, flush coolant, etc.
