Could anyone recommend a good quality/priced clear bra installer in the Houston or Austin area? I got my first chip today

 

Mike's ClearShield/Truck Toys. He does a great job for us down in Clear Lake but he may not drive out to where you are. I've been impressed with the products he uses (stay away from 3M!) and the warranties he gives on his work.

What's wrong w/ 3M?

 

They've had some issues with yellowing and cracking in warmer climates. If you're in a colder climate you probably won't have any trouble with them at all.

 

Sun Tint in Austin. They use Clearshield from Bekaert. Bumper, hood, and side mirrors for $350. Highly respectable and professional.

I recommend getting detailed and clearshield from them.

 

Yellowing and cracking is covered by warranty for 5 yrs with 3M.

Sure, but you still have take time out of your day to deal with it. The Bekaert product doesn't have that issue, offers the same warranty, and is about the same price. Completely up to the customer, but I'm glad to share my experience.
