I have the "quote what I'm responding to" habit ingrained in me. Some of the other forums I've been on sent quote notifications, so I always assumed this one did too. Thought it would help get a response back quicker.

Hmmmm 100 posts before having the ability to start a new thread. It might take me a couple of years before I could introduce myself in the Newbie Corner as I don't post much. I DO appreciate the effort the Mods put into this to make it a really worth while place.

Carry on.

I think the theory is that the 100 post count would apply for every thread besides the Newbie Corner. This concept is unlikely to be put in place anyways since the admins are not active on this forum like the mods are.

I feel like you can't complain about the quality of posts in the Newbie Corner. It's there for the mundane, 'answered a thousand times over' questions.

This is 100% correct. Help them or ignore them. You can't flame them though. That's why you often see dumb or repetitive threads by noobs get moved there. To keep them from getting flamed in the normal parts of the forum.

Yeah, this thread didn't start in the "Newbie Corner". You can see the hyperlink has "G37 Coupe", which is where it was originally posted and eventually moved by a mod. I haven't seen anyone flame posts originally put in the "Newbie Corner" but I guess anything is possible.
