Is it just me, or has there been an even higher volume of crazy noob posts. Maybe I'm spending too much time on this forum lately, lol. Oh well, back to trying to not click on the landmine threads.

As for the higher volume of crazy noob threads Ryne I feel like it's become even more out of control since this thread was started lol Maybe we both spend too much of our time on the forum to the point where we truly notice it

you should see the the PMs i get asking me to spoon feed my wheel info to them.
its frustrating when i have FS threads and all of a sudden i get a PM and its asking me about my specs instead of someone interested in my wheels.
honestly a 2 second search they could find my info all over the forum. there's even a dedicated sticky thread that has everything in it.................................

On another note, and I meant to post this earlier in the thread.. I personally have created threads for things that have been covered/answered and not for a lack of searching. The site's search is not great; I've learned to just Google "MyG37 *search term*" and let Google handle that FWIW

And it's you J that wants me to do even more, sheesh, it's never going to end, lol.
And thanks for the kind words guys, it's the solid, helpful members around here that make it worthwhile, and make getting through some of the crud that much easier.

^^Lol. Why bother searching when the new thread button is right there begging to be clicked.
It's a hard habit to break [for some]. Similar to quoting the entire text of a message above when replying. Especially if that response is a word or barely a sentence.
I can't remember which forum it was but this concept was drilled in big time by the mods. Never quote the text above if your response follows immediately. And when quoting, only quote what is pertinent to your reply. The mods there ruled with an iron fist and it kept the forum very organized and on point. I try to keep to this convention when posting and replying. Sometimes a quote is necessary to keep things in context, most times it's not.

Brad is a fantastic moderator, and a genuinely nice guy.
