Anytime Fitness Banner Ad

Seems like everytime the Anytime Fitness Banner ad loads, nothing else loads on that page. I probably get this ad every 3rd page click, and it's annoying. I'm calling it a rogue ad as of now, but perhaps a better name is in order.

OK, now a bank ad also just caused this behavior.

EDIT:

OK, so this seems to have stopped on its own, or maybe I've been lucky these past 10 minutes. Could it have been on my end?

Double Edit:

It's back. I am still getting an ad at the top and it's the only thing to load...no forum content. This happens 1/3 of the time, except when it stops happening

Hmmm I've never really noticed/seen this. Maybe you need to clear your history or you may have spyware. Not sure if it matters but maybe also make sure your popup blocker is on. What browser are you using? I'm on Firefox and don't have this issue.

Try logging out of the site, clearing cookies, and logging back in. Also, try some sort of ad blocker software.

Should check recently installed programs and scan your computer for anything odd. Also it is a good idea to not use adblockers for trusted websites, its how they make money and why we have this forum.

It actually stopped after 1 day, so I can't provide this for you. I also haven't seen anymore Anytime Fitness ads. Even with the Anytime Fitness ads, it was all delivered via AdChoices...it's just that the AnytimeFitness ads would constantly do that thing I mentioned above. If it happens again, I'll be sure to document it better.

Also, I did nothing to make it stop. I didn't clear cache, cookies, or any other actions. I've since seen the Anytime Fitness ad, but it's been behaving lately.

I had a similar issue to this on a music forum, I was able to resolve it by clearing my browsers history, saved passwords, cookies etc. Best of luck
