Advertising on every picture?
man i thought i was the only one. it seems that every pic that the luminate add thing is on, the main focus of the pic is more towards the bottom of it, and gets covered. and thats basically every pic haha
Adios all,
I've had enough of this. I'll check back some time later and see if the ads are removed...
It's been nice, and a THANKS to all of you who have helped me with info and good discussion over the past year...
Take care,
JJ

It is getting rather annoying. I would assume that if logged in that will at least go away.
Are these photos really being sponsored by the advertiser/luminate? I see a random source for the photos, so in essence the advertisers and luminate are claiming to sponsor images that users post, and other webhosts are serving up.
Because, if that's the case, i sure hope IB will cut me a check because all photos i post here are my own property and served up from my own server with bandwidth i pay for.

Logged in users should not be seeing the best buy ads on photos and that is a new client, we have always had at least some form of ad on images prior for logged out guests.
Settings were also changed today to get rid of the VW pop up ads for logged in users and that should be sorted out.

I haven't seen it for a while back either. Don't get me wrong, I understand the need for advertising but it can be done in a more discreet, subliminal way O.o
I was just browsing through the threads...Hey that VW looks really nice....

Since paying anything for the use or this forum is voluntary, thanks for removing it for us all Nolan. I realize that this is indeed a commercial business venture and something has to generate revenue to pay the bills and to make it profitable enough to continue existing for our benefit. Without requiring a subscription fee from everyone, that has to be advertising. But thanks for scaling it back a little.
Good job.
Good job.
