I’d love your gus feedback. I am getting a set of Work Emotion CR2P in bronze with bronze lips for my white sedan. Before I came across these wheels I was gonna have silver wheels and get my Akebonos coated gold. Now with these wheels I don’t think that gold calipers would work what color would you guys go with for the calipers? Thanks!

pics of car and wheels for reference.

It would be amazing if your tails actually looked like that all bronze and gold or whatnot. I suspect you were playing around with image editing.

Beautiful wheels, gorgeous two-tone finish with an elegant center cap. It's a big YES! from me.

haha yeah it was a filter from Instagram. Thanks I love the wheels too. What do you think about caliper color? I’m almost leaning real but that might be too much.

I think gold calipers would detract from the wheels. Gunmetal, perhaps. Or just leave them silver.

Assuming you're talking about OEM Akebono calipers.

Thanks. I didn’t think of gunmetal. That could be cool. And yes the OEM Akebonos.

You should start a build thread for ideas and progress and pics.

How about yellow? Would offer some bright contrast against the darker bronze.

Anyone jump on any BF or Cyber Monday deals? I started my journey in air ride and ordered airlift 3H management kit. I’ll pick up air shocks/bags in the spring possibly.

I bought a few new pieces for my G last week. A couple being the TBW aluminum under tray and a beautiful set of VooDoo 13 upper control arms in raw machined finish! Also almost pulled the trigger on a set of SPL outer tie rod ends but was wondering if anyone on here was running them so I could get thoughts on them before purchasing?

Here are some pics of the new parts. Note: I haven't received the control arms yet so these are just some stock images from their website.

I also spent a day over the weekend fixing an oil leak on my oil filter relocation adapter and cleaned the entire front undercarriage of any evidence of the leak.. Took 3 cars of engine cleaner to get all of the gunk off. Also pulled off all the front chassis braces and front sway bar and dropped them off at the powder coaters on Monday to have them coated candy red to match the rest of my suspension parts.

Very nice. You should be very happy with it. I love my Air Lift 3P system. One of my buddies liked my suspension so much that he took advantage of Air Lifts 25% off sale and got the same kit for himself last week.

Needless to say I can’t wait to order the shocks/bags. Only ordered the management for now @25% off.

I bet! You gonna go with the Air Lift shocks/Air Bags as well, or you using some other brand with the Air Lift air management system?

For simplicity and the fact they tailored it for the x model. I’m going to stick with airlift shock/bags. I’m now looking into finding a way to mount the compressors in my spare tire well since I can’t utilize it anyways ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Additionally I realized it might be time to part way with my mudguards if I really want to lay frame. My only concern is the last time I removed mudguards was from my 6th gen maxima and the floor boards rusted completely through very quickly. I guess this will have to be a spring/good weather only car.

Sounds like a wise decision. I think you'll be very happy with the full Air Lift set-up.... My car actually rides much better now with the Air Lift suspension.

You can definitely fit everything in the spare tire well if you want. Just make sure you go with a 3 - 4 gallon tank.. My tank is a 24" long seamless tank from Suspension Specialties and it fits perfectly in the spare tire well along with the compressor and main control unit. I also just bought a second compressor and plan to install that one in the spare tire well as well.
