I have a group of devices for sale that will allow for bluetooth audio streaming in earlier model G's (2007-09, I believe). The vehicle MUST have factory iPod integration in the center console for this setup to work! Please verify before buying. This module is 100% plug & play as I've already sourced the necessary parts to make everything work. All you need to do is plug the power cable into the DC power outlet, and the iPod cable into the port, both in the center console. Everything fits in the center console storage bin so there are no messy wires hanging out and about. Steering wheel controls and song info on the factory infotainment display are FULLY FUNCTIONAL! This is as close to factory bluetooth audio streaming as you will get. Basically what it does is it tricks the system into thinking that an iPod is plugged into the center console. This should work with all versions of iPhone & iOS. I last tried it with my iPhone 7 Plus running the latest version of iOS (as of 11/2019) and everything works. I am not sure if this works with Android, as I've only ever had an iPhone, but I don't see why not. Feel free to do your own research. I've been using this since September 2015 and never had any issues with audio quality or connection problems.

I know you sold it but I was looking to purchase each one of the parts on eBay for my car. I just had a question when you had it did it automatically disconnect/ reconnect when you turn off/on the car? and also was the sound quality the same as lets say using an aux cord? thanks I really would appreciate a response

 

Yes, it automatically connected and disconnected when turning the car on and off. No problems with connectivity or audio quality.
