2009 Auxiliary Audio
Hi
I have a 2009 G37 Sedan (Journey). The car came with a cord like the one in the link:

I cannot seem to find anything on the internet about these. So I was hoping someone could help:
1: What are these adapters called? I'm looking for one made with a lightning (8pin) connector.
2: How can I get this to charge?
3: What other options do I have when it comes to connecting my phone to my car.
Any help appreciated. Thanks.

1. That is the only cord made that plugs into your car and allows you to operate your ipod through the radio and stealing wheel. There is no cord made with a lightning connector.
2. It will only charge older iPods and iPhones which used the FireWire charging through the 30-pin connector. If you want it to charge your iphone or ipod with the lightning connector, your best bet is to buy a cablejive dockstubz+ and an oem apple 30-pin to lightning connector. That most likely will work. If not you can try some other options - search the boards.
3. You can connect your phone to the rca inputs beside the ipod input in the center console; however, you will not be able to operate the phone's music player through the radio/steering wheel controls. You could use different bluetooth connectors through the fm radio. Other people have built their own bluetooth connectors to go into the rca connectors in the center console. Otherwise you could have an aftermarket hardwire connector run directly to your head unit.
If you search the boards first, you will find a ton of info on this subject.
