This is great stuff! Effectively reduces the surface temp of the pipes, thus reducing the intake air temp. I noticed a drop in temps during slow stop-and-go traffic and between races. This is due to the intake pipes having a shield from the ambient heat from the engine. No more sluggish starts!

Thanks! Definitely helps keep the intake temps lower when idling. But i'll admit, after driving on the highway for 2-3 minutes, temps go back to normal. Maybe a degree or two lower than without the tape.

oh man I recently sold my bike, but my intake box, like 65%, was wrapped in that, and was looking for more for cheap, i loved it !

Yup, this is great stuff! Plus, it looks great under the hood. I wish I had more parts to wrap but I don't like being overzealous with stuff like this.
