Is the IPL's exhaust different than the sports g37 Exhaust system? ($700 MSRP one stainless steel)

 

yes the ipl is bigger diameter tubing thats how they get the extra power from the ipl

 

IPL has the same Mid-Pipe as the 370z NISMO. It's true dual setup from the cats.

 

the IPL exhaust is the same as the "sport exhaust" offered by infiniti.....it might be easier to just buy that and try to find a IPL midpipe

 

gtlaw have you thought about going to an exhaust shop and having ghrm cut out the Y section of the y pipe and the midpipe. and after weld in an H pipe or X pipe section connecting basically strait from the cat to the resonatord of the midpipe? i have been contemplating this, im just not sure if i want to modify my stock exhaust. there was someone along time ago in yhe forum that attemped this but never updated his thread with how it sounded.
