Braille Battery web site lists this battery model with 1380 cranking amps, I think we need about 700+ amps, any reason this is more?

difference in weight between factory battery and this?

is the size same with factory and this, if not do we need a special bracket?

No reason why I got more.. It was recommended so I got it and it's much lighter than stock. I've seen people use this without the mount Braille offers but I've sen people who track get the mount due to the nature of their driving.

oe battery is 700+CCA.. the 21lb braille is 550 cold cranking amps if i recall correctly.. this is not more..
in fact i would recommend runnin a tender on this battery during the winter if the car isn't used regularly..
