This is a camera control unit for 2007-2009 G35 and G37s. You need this box if you want to add a backup camera to your G37. Just recently removed from my car and is working perfectly.

I cant recall correctly but i think i read somewhere that every G comes with that cable that connects to it already. do some research

Does this require the nav screen or will it interface with the non-nav screen as well?

Agreed, I don't think you would unless that box can only hookup with the navi HD....seems illogical though.

When I pulled my car's trunk apart mine was NOT pre wired for the camera. You'd need all the wiring and have to run the cables to the screen. Also, the factory rear camera is part of the navigation package, and requires the Navigation HD stereo. The non-navi stereos do not have the connections needed to hook up this unit.

Would this unit work on a base G37x (Non-Navi) If you bought the entire oem navigation unit with the wire harness and this component for sale??
