Got in touch with the owner of this car. He said he got the splitter from outcast garage (same one I've got coming n mail) and had the front edge wrapped in vinyl the same color as his car. So it can be simply done and simply removed of I want. Correct?
Figured I'd kip in real quick, take ownership of my comments (lol) and take a break from the EF-5 crapstorm at work I'm in the middle of.
Honestly, that's my only point of contention is the integrity of that seam between black paint and white. I think it looks great and if they can do that to where it's perfectly smooth, I see no objection to doing it. ***However*** The other possible option is paint it white, clear bra the front bumper and then use a glossy wrap over the clear bra to give the same effect. Benefit is that it's not permanent and would be easy to pull off if you don't like it. I just think of all kinds of stuff when planning car mods.
John brings up a point with the splitter corners being exaggerated with the middle painted black. There is that. If I were to make a choice, I'd keep the pain white for sure if using the splitter and experiment with the black glossy wrap option. That way, if you don't like it, it's a peel off instead of a repaint.
