Had to add in this option (thanks Kuro). This one has the splitter I have. But the red outline would be QAA white if I even considered it. As of now the CF splitter is staying CF. but the white outline is dope on some cars I've seen.
VS. this type of normal paint job (couldn't find a QAA)
This one features the exact CF front splitter I have coming
I'm strongly considering having my body shop paint my new bumper like this one. Rather than just going with moonlight white over the entire bumper. Plz keep in mind there is gonna be a CF front splitter on the bottom and CF mirrors to help accent the gloss black paint in the middle of the IPL bumper lines. I'm also going to have the Midnight grill not totally blacked out like these. I wish I could've found perfect photos but hey you guys know cars and if not use your imaginations. I only have 2 days to decide so POST up plz!
Btw guys every paint job is an option. I'm way ahead $$ wise on this wreck so If you have a different suggestion plz post it up. I pride myself in being open minded

OK, that was a weird analogy.

Anyway, the common theme to my opinion (since you PM'd me asking for it) is that the IPL front bumper is already a pretty aggressive design. Adding to it only jumps the shark. If you want to add a little something unique to the IPL bumper, look at those chrome trim pieces, but wrap them in CF, don't leave them chrome.

I knew you'd shoot me straight that's why I specifically asked for your opinion. But the splitter is already bought n on its way. I've never seen a pic of the IPL front with the splitter I didn't like, so I guess that one just comes down to personal preference. But that's a chocoholic talkin lol

Had to put this one on here for fun. Tell me a vert hauling a new bumper isn't hilarious and I'll call you a liar lol.
Keep in mind that bumper was loaded at the feet of where the passenger would sit and damn near stretched all the way to my trunk

With the CF on the flat of the lip, but MW around the edge?
That's actually pretty interesting. And the white trim brings the two giant shark-teeth together. Notice how he didn't just go matte in the middle, but gloss black. That's worth remembering, if you do that.
I still think a lip under the IPL bumper is too many notes. But this picture is pretty cool. You might convert me yet, RedFire.

That would be great. The last pic I posted is actually what I was talking about the whole time. I just couldn't find the pic when I needed it. I'm asking the owner of the car for the details about the gloss black and the white stripe. But yes ever since I 1st saw his pic I've been fascinated by the possiblity of doing it with my car.

Hmm. I suppose either way works.
Now John I need to know if you think the completely blacked out grill is necessary to pull off this look? I really prefer the midnight grill (whether it's black chrome, gloss black, or whatever for the middle slats), so I know I wanna stick with that version. But I'm curious what everyone's opinion on this look and the grill needed to make it work best is.
Tough call, because when you start painting things Black & White, you run the risk of going full Oreo. That's not good.

Lol full Oreo isn't what I'm going for.
Honestly I have no idea what the guy did or had done to his splitter to achieve this look. That being said I really like it. I'm going to talk to my body shop and see what they say about the possibility of painting the splitter like this or just wrapping it. I'm also gonna discuss going with your front grills look (I've always loved it). They already have the QAA and the gloss black ready to go for my appointment. So it shouldn't cost me anything extra (maybe $50). They also told me they could make up some black chrome if I chose to go that direction. I think I should be able to pull off the look if I stay with the chrome slats on top n bottom tho...if I choose that route.
I mean my IPL headlights still have chrome on the shrouds. So there will still be plenty of chrome accents left on the car to pull together the two chrome slats on the midnight grill. Plus if I get my VSXX I'm gonna have the polished lip which will further my cause.
