Car is Dead!!!
Just found out that my car has water in the engine from yesterdays rain here in AZ. I have the injen cold air intake, it didn't do so well in the rain
I have to wait till Friday to find out if my insurance company is going to replace my engine. I'll keep you posted with pics later on today.

why is this in this thread??? Horrible news bro, but prob the wrong place to post this.
Keep us updated on the outcome. I doubt they will warrenty the engine since it was the "result of an aftermarket mod". If anything, switch your intakes back to stock before taking it to the dealer.

sorry for just posting the story, it wouldn't let me load the pictures for some reason. The car is already at the dealership, I had it towed there as soon as it happened. I'll try to load the pics later and keep you guys posted.
my vents are completely open and i dont even have the hydroshields and ive never had any problems. my car is a daily driver and drive it in the rain all the time. i feel like you have to have the intakes fully submerged in water to have it hydrolocked. were your intakes fully submerged?

Put.your stock intake back on, insurance co will have to pay for the new motor.
Infiniti would even cover it, if the stock intake is in place.
