Tom, I used to have 35 on the G but I went with 18 on both my car and the wifes. To me its the same in being able to see without a problem from the inside but added security from the outside

mind pming me the one you're gonna get?

just wondering, with the research canon vs nikon, and i consider myself a complete novice supposely canon is easier to learn, i wanna take pics like the ones in this thread too

I went with a Canon because a friend of mine can get me a good deal on parts, otherwise it was really a toss up between the D3000 and my camera.

All of them are really good, its just a personal choice.

Did you use stock lens that came with Rebel T1i? I have XTi and original lens that came with package and picture quality was so so, especially when taking dark pictures without light. I noticed your dark picture lost some clarity.

I ended up grabbing some Tamron lens and worked out pretty good.
