New Camera, few pics.

Picked up a Rebel T1i this week, here are a few pics. I'm still learning how to use the camera, let me know how the pics are!

Tom

You can't take night pics in full auto though, you need to adjust the iso, turn off the flash ect. With a point and shoot camera you can't do that

The T1i is a great camera, I was going to get the XSi but the store was sold out so I went with the more expensive one. I have only had it 2 days, but so far I love it.

Busted! Lucky for him, your jurisdiction doesn't run all the way up to NY.

On the other hand, pics looks great.

Thanks everyone, yes I'm dropped on KW's, and the wheels are spaced out with Ichiba 15mm spacers. The windsheild is tinted 35% officer

Neat thing about DSLR is you have control over depth of field to help give depth to your photos and emphasise the subject while bluring the background which is as your eyes see things. Take that front shot over again only set it in Av Mode, set AWB to sunlight, open up the F stop to 3.5 or smaller number yet and get a bit closer, same height which will also get that little bit of blown out sky out of the picture, ISO to 100 should give you a fast enough shutter to not get camera shake and compare it. You may need to increase focal length and move back to the same frame say from 28mm to 45mm. Goal is to get that tree and the rest of the background to blur a bit more while keeping the car in sharp focus. Some cameras have a DoF preview button as well.
