Haha.. I was just thinking the same thing.

Nice detail job. With black cars you can expect it to last about 10 minutes before it looks like a dust magnet again.

Man those are some nice pics. Job well done. I plan on purchasing a porter cable soon so I can try doing my own work. How much did the polish and sealing portions each take you?

I think I'm going to go with sealant next time. I've heard mixed opinions about how you should use wax instead on a black car, but man, your car looks great.

About 3 hours of polishing, the sealing only took about 1/2 hour or so, I used the PC with that which helped save time.

I used the sealant and the car looked good, but then I used the wax on top of the sealant and the car looked great. It really finished off the entire detail perfectly.
