Touchless car wash (SF, Bay Area)

Hey all,

I'm dropped on eibachs (pro-kit), have the sport front chin spoiler, and stock rims. Can anyone recommend a touchless car wash that can accommodate this ride height? I used to go through a touchless, go home and use a quick detailing spray, but that was before having the front lip...

MODS if this needs to be move, please do so.

Thanks,
Jay

If only I had thought of that myself...

^seriously, bet that guy really thought he told you lol

Assuming your situation is like mine, living close enough to the city (or possibly in he city in your case) limits a lot of the conveniences that others take for granted. Tough not being able to easily wash my car...

Well i see you're from SF but if you happen to be in Fremont, I go to the touchless wash at the cheveron off Mowry and Farwell. literally off the 880 mowry exit. $6 for a basic touchless wash and does a pretty damn good job IMO. you dont drive through anything other than a flat concrete surface so ride height is not an issue for this touchless wash.

Meguires Quick Detailer. Get a dust brush to get the dust off, and clean that thing yourself. That is what I used to do in the winter when I lived back east. It only takes about 20 minutes to do the whole car. A bottle will last you essentially 5 or 6 "washes" for the regular bottle and 15 I think for the large one. When you take into account, gas for drive time, the cost of the wash each time, this a more cost effective way to do it. Especially if you have no real place to wash the car.

Theres one touchless carwash on Jackson in Hayward. I go there all the time and they do pretty good job. Ill keep going until I get the swirls and get a good detail on my paint then its two bucket method wash for me. $15...bout double from the one in fremont...never been to the one ncplafox mentioned but there's plenty of luxury cars that goes to the one in Hayward. You'll be fine my pretty slammed s2k made it before so it shouldnt be any problem.

it's easy when you have the time, always used to hand wash my car, never thought that would change, but then a demanding job + school + being near (and working in) the city pretty much zaps all free time

Still don't use the auto-washes though, just hose my car off and Opti no rinse every month or so...wish I could more often tho
