This is what I thought too. It is just a fix-it if you have them on but shops are not allowed to sell them to you if you live in Cali.

I won't be surprised since an intake (non-CARB certified) ticket is already close to $500... but they can be used on off-road vehicles like competition cars in Cali and selling them isn't illegal.

As for HFCs, I belief they outlawed them even on off-road vehicles and for sale in Cali = extreme-fine if caught with one.

Thats what all those tree hugging liberals do for you. Their about to legalize pot, but wont let you install a high performance catalytic converter. The pot puts out more fumes than the HFC does... LOL
