Practical to keep the G in Brooklyn?
I knew this would occur when I bought the car about a year ago but I will be moving to brooklyn in June next summer. We will likely be living in park slope and will not use the car on a daily basis. I really want the car only for leaving to long island on the weekends during the summer. Given the higher insurance costs, I pay 840 a year now, and the cost of renting a garage plus all the other anciallary costs is it realistic to keep the G only for use once in a while? How much are garages in brooklyn? I really would not want to keep in on the street. Anyone have thoughts?

Having grown up in park slope you could keep it on the street but it's a big PITA with alternate sides for street cleaning. Garage is gonna cost at least $500 a month... Not to mention that if you keep it on the street it's gonna get beaten up from all the other clowns trying to park... It's doable but you have to decide if it's worth it
Sorry for the long time to reply, but wow 500 bucks? Is that for a park slope garage, or BK in general? If that is just PS what about just renting something in flatbush, or some other more crappy area? Is that about 200 or under? Basically sounds like to me I should get rid of the car.
