Car-Id Knocks one over the fence
So I've had my '13 G for just over a month now. (Almost to the day)
My new rollers and rubbers just arrived from Car-iD
Excellent experience shopping with them. The really took the hassle out of it and the salesman was really helpful.
The tires arrived on the quoted day and the packaging was Operator.
The kit looks sharp and the TMPS were labeled, as well as which corner each wheel was destined to go.
The new wheels are 20" as compared to the stock sports at 19" all told 4lbs heavier for each corner.
Hankook Ventus V12 Evo on KMC Rockstar 20"x8 wheels 54.2lbs each
245/35ZR20
Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 on stock 19"x8.5 Sport wheels 50lbs each
225/45/R19
Despite the picture, the new Hankooks V12s should be slightly wider than the Conti DWS-06s06s
They look sharp, I'll eventually drop the ride an inch or or two.
Plenty of clearance on my Akebono brakes, at least as much as the stock wheels have.
They face up to the wheel well nice and flush too.
Props to CID for getting it all good.

Glad you had a good experience w/ one of our vendors, if you have time post a review here~
Vendor Comments/Reviews/Feedback - MyG37
Looks like they did a great job w/ the packaging & clearly labeling everything.
Once you get some time w/ those new tires there's a review section for them too

KMC Rockstar, at 32.6 pounds for 20"x8", so assuming these are 9" or wider... yikes!
I think after a while, you'll get this out of your system and start looking for something else.

"Regarding the weight change:
KMC Rockstar 20" x8 wheel w/Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 245/35ZR20
54.2lbs wheel and tire
Stock Inf Sport 19x8.5 w/ Continental Extreme Contact DWS06
245/45ZR19
50.0lbs wheel and tire.
Differential 4.2lbs per corner.
+16.8 lbs total extra pound for moving up to 20" wheels and tires."
Now before you continue to pontificate how these boat anchors are going to turn my car into a prelude, consider Car & Driver's test:
so for a smaller lighter weaker car +3 lbs per wheel had the tragic detrimental effect:
0s change in 0-60
+.1s in 0-100
0s change in Qtr mile
and -0.8mpg
OMG I should just WALK!:roll eyes:
