Car Seat Covers for Pets (COUPE)

Hi all,

I'm about to get a puppy Bernedoodle which will grow to about 50-70 lbs. My 2011 G37XS Coupe is my only car so it will be the only way this dog travels with me. I'm not too concerned about him as a puppy but I am looking for a way to protect the seats from getting scratched up when he grows to be larger. I was hoping you all could recommend a good product to help me out. I'm thinking that he will be more comfortable in the backseat during transport. The products I've seen are for sedans/trucks/suvs and I'm concerned about fit/mounting in the coupe rear seats. What recommendations/experiences do you have?

Pictures would be great! Links to specific products would be useful as well!

P.S. I searched this but the majority of threads came up with old dead links.

Thanks in advance!

I will lay the back seat down so it is flat, and my black lab (90 lbs) rides there. Or the front seat with a towel down if he wants to check out babes . I'm HIS wingman lmao

Good idea. Wasn't sure if that would be enough room or not. I think I'll be wingin' my little guy too! haha

I lay down a polar fleece blanket for my pup when she cruises out with me.

BTW, would love to see a pic of your pup when you get him... Bernedoodles are about as cute a puppy as I've ever seen.

I don't have a pet, but love dogs.

Just a thought, it might be safer to keep your pups in the back seat.
A collision could deploy the airbag and that might cause more harm than help to the poor unrestrained dog.

At least in the back, if your are lucky they will be blocked by the seat and not fly forward to/through the window.

Not pleasant thoughts I know, but it could mean a lot less injury on a minor collision.

I'll for sure post some pictures when I get him in early December. Attached is one from the breeder just yesterday.

That's what I was thinking. Just don't want anything to get scratched up!
