I've always heard nothing but good things about Infiniti of Massapequa.

the techs and service advisor saw that thread he made about opening up the rear diff... questioned him and he denied ever opening the diff up, which isn't that hard.

I'll defend the dealership b/c I check over everyone's cars -- in service and new cars all day long since I'm there 70 hours a week. The last thing I'd ever want is the reputation of the dealership going down. I know no place is perfect but we're recognized by Infiniti as a Award of Excellence dealer, one of the top 10 volume in the country, and even the Service Manager and Sales manager have been with the company since 1989, which we are one of the 15 launch dealers for Infiniti.

we have cameras all over and way too many cars each day to come to service. he "claims" someone stole stuff which again, if someone really did he would've made a scene... I know I would've.

the last thing I would do is ever get a bad rep for myself or for the whole dealership. I don't like to see anyone unhappy but for all the guys who aren't local know the deal about this one lol....thanks for the support for the ones who know the truth

RANT: differantial FAIL

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So i got this knocking noise coing from underneath the car when ever im on the gas, it happened on every gear , but its not the clutch coz it dosnt happen when in neutral......

Today i picked the car up , put it up on jack stands , started it and put it in 6th gear coz it is the loudest in 6th, set the cruise control to 50 and went underneth the car to figure out what that noise was,

Now this noise is so loud that when i talk to people on the phone when i drive they can hear it over the phone......

so after inspection i figured out its coming from the differantial , i wanted to see how the oil is ,

well after pulling out the drain plug which has a magnet at the end of it , this is what i pulled out with it............... well later on i pulled out 2 more in total of 3 teeth as i call them, so my diff is ****ed , i hope the dealership can fix it under warranty

THIS IS THE RESULT OF LOUNCHING AND GETTING THE WHEELS TO HOP ON THE PAVEMENT< I THINK EVERY ONE HAD THIS HAPPEN TO THEM ONCE OR TWICE SO BE CAREFUL WHEN LOUNCHING YOUR CAR
