That's really cool and generous of you to offer up your services. One of my friends is like that too, he's not even a car enthusiast but he just likes to work on cars so much that he works on them for free. I would really like to learn doing more indepth internal engine work.

My skill set
  • Brakes
  • Suspension
  • Exhaust
  • Basic Maintenance, Fluid Changes

I actually met Eugene at Peninsula Infiniti yesterday (before I even knew him on this forum), and he was nice enough to offer me the same help as everyone and pointed me to this section (Regional NorCal) of the forum. I like how all of us can come together with our common interest/ownership of the G35!

I don't have a lift, but I can get your sedan about 1.5 feet off the ground and into the air.

No need for a lift to install sways Eloy. Afraid of getting dirty?

Well, my car is so low that even when I jack it up all the way, I have a hard time fitting under it. I'm not skinny you know.

Bah, just get my semi-skinny *** and I'll do it for ya. Sway bars really are one of the best bang for your buck mods.

yeah..i wouldn't mind experimenting on your car Eloy. i got sways coming as well. might as well make mistakes now rather than later

wonder if the issue with endlinks has been resolved? a couple people had them break after installing swaybars. some say upgrade to the '05, but Gsedan35 (resident expert) says there is no physical difference that he can tell. considered getting nismo endlinks, but they are expensive. only other option out on the market is SPL, and they sell them for over $350 for the set.

my stock '04 endlinks have been on 350evo sways and now stillen sways set at med/med for about 2 years running with 4 track days in between. no probelms with them at all. the nismo endlinks are great but are difficult to setup if you don't know what you are doing.

Can we set-up a date? I don't mind traveling or I could host. I'm assuming weekends are better for you guys. How about Sunday, Aug. 20th?

Sways are fairly easy to install. Much easier to do on a lift of course, especially the rear and navigating around the exhaust. I think we have a photo DIY guide we did a while back if you guys need help.

IMO: Go Cusco!

I've been extremely satisfied with the Stillen Sways. Why do you suggest the Cusco's as a better alternative?
