Infinion Wednesday Drags

I couldn't decide wether to take the G or the Sho up to Infinion. Decided on the Sho as I knew a few other Shos would be there.

I got placed into the Street sport class along with many V6 imports. Only saw one Pearl White G35 Sedan. It had a few mods and it's roof was painted Black. Anyone here? Also one 350Z.

Made 3 practice runs. I made 6 elimination passes and ended up with first place in the Street Sport class. Two drivers red lighted and one broke out of his dial in. My average ET of 16.2 and 89 mph traps. Bet R/t was .013 and worst was .660.

First time I've ever raced. Although fun and they give a nice trophy, I'm going to have to try the G. My SHO is basically stock and et's and speed don't get my adrenalin going.

Hey Andy,

That was me, Boris. It was a pleasure meeting you, and I hope to see your G out there sometime. I've also got a first place trophy from Infineon a couple years back. By the way, a "few" mods is a big understatement.

14.2 @ 98.99 MPH w/ 2.29 60'

But, I've got excuses for those times . I think my car is capable of 13.75 based on its current mods...

that's a huge time diff... u know that infineon's track is slightly uphill right? 14.2 is really good there....

if you can get a better 60' you'll be set. did you lower the pressure in your tires?

Nope, no tire prep, and I was on some all-season 215's, so poor traction. I should also mention it was 90 degrees there...

Whoops, there go all my excuses!

I live fairly close to Infineon (sears pt.) but I still havent been to the Wed night summer drags. Is it as fun as it sounds or are most of the peeps there lame and starting fights?
