Tail light as turn signal

Tail light as turn signal
I made my tail lights my turn signal and the screen inside the car flashes when I use my turn signal. Is that normal ?

No your screen shouldn't flash. Are you talking the centre console screen? Are you using the Diode Dynamics kit or something else?

this is the one I bought and yes my center console screen

Simple enough. Remove it and see if the screen goes back to normal. If it does, then that thing you bought from Amazon is the problem.

The Diode Dynamics device is more $$, but it just works. Had mine for years without issue.

Seven years come October for me, never a flashing screen or issue.
