Hello, been lurking for a few years and just picked up a 2012 G37x coupe yesterday. Needs interior clean up, pretty nasty, definitely new seat foam and covers. Exterior is OK, but need clear coat and maybe repaint on the rear driver’s quarter pretty badly, plus some paint chip repair. Seats are the biggest concern, seems like the foam was crushed and covers have a few rips plus the passenger bottom/middle seam ripped out. All fixable!
Drove it home 400+ miles yesterday and LOVE how it drives, averaged almost 28 mpg after gaining quite a bit of altitude on the way. Some interstate, some state highway, some two lane roads. Mostly dry roads but went through a few miles of active, heavy snow showers and tested the AWD a bit in slush and snow and acted just like an AWD Subaru or Honda CR-V, types I’ve driven for 30+ years. Waited until no other cars were visible, put the tires on the slush and floored it, just pulled through and stayed tracking. Wouldn’t have tried that on icy roads though! No plans for performance gains, just reliability, but want the interior looking as new as possible. Plan on 80% daily as long as the snow isn’t too deep, plus longer drives to visit kids and family.
This is a killer forum, soooo much useful info and already taking some steps from the DIY and other threads. Really appreciate all the people who take the time to post how to get stuff done for new people, saves countless hours and dollars!

@Mt Al , per your request.
I can not attach the AV section as that is over 40mb and exceeds the limit. I will see what I can do.
Note: for others reading this post, the attached pdf files are for the Q60 (CV37 (2016+)) models and NOT for the "rebadged" G37 (V/CV/HV36) from 2014-2015.

@Mt Al
I was able to split the AV section into two separate parts. Like many of Nissan's FSM's there's a lot of unnecessary duplication but... The whole section is 803 pages should you decide to merge the two.
Hope this helps. As mentioned in your message to me, it will be far easier to source the 8-pin harness than back probe the 16-pin but whichever works for you.
Good luck
