If the latter, he should be able to pull the drivers' door switch out of the door panel (carefully) and provide power to 12V and ground wires into the switch. I would DEFINITELY do this with the battery disconnected. Then use the driver's switch to put all the windows up.

If it's CANBUS and your BCM is borked, well, good luck - better buy a tarp.
thanks boss I'm going to let my step-dad read that over because yes I brought a tarp but it's water repellent not waterproof so it's been scaring me with all the electronics

Not CANBUS as that is a 2-wire high-speed network. But the windows and locks use a single-wire, low-speed COM Serial Link that is used between the BCM and the master (driver) switch. Some refer to it as the K-Line. All of the satellite (slave) window switches, and the BCM, communicate directly through this single-wire network.

There is no "hot trick" other than applying 12V directly to each motor which, for most, is not feasible.

Wow. Designing every system to run through a single failure-prone part... now that's good obsolescence planning.

I don't know what that ⇑ is.... It's not clear for me to make out.

Just go here, navigate to your car, and download section PWC (Power Window Control System). This will have everything you need to figure out the windows.

I would take some time and download the whole manual as it will prove invaluable when working on these cars.

@Mxrobey19 don’t take this the wrong way, but please write a little more clearly in your posts.

I get that you’re probably posting from a mobile phone but… this forum isn’t set up that way. I can barely parse out what you are trying to say, and I’m sure there are others here who would love to help and have the experience but can’t get what you are saying.

Write posts like they’re an email going to your boss - or your professor.
