Technology Package

My car just got totaled by my insurance company and this time I'm getting a G37. I should say another G37 since I've owned several previously. I'm looking for a 2012 G37xS coupe with the TECHNOLOGY PACKAGE. The TECHNOLOGY PACKAGE is very hard to find. For some reason a lot of people spent the money for the PREMIUM, NAVIGATION and SPORT PACKAGES but not the TECH. And it was the cheapest. I love the Intelligent Cruise Control. Not having to brake yourself and then reset the cruise control is awesome. I want that and I will not compromise. Any information on one for sale would be much appreciated. I just want a G37 again. They are the greatest car of all time.

Probably because you had to have all the other packages to get the Tech package, including the interior accent package. So basically a G with the tech package is fully loaded. People were trying to save a dollar. I wanted the tech package too but you had to have wood trim, interior accent package, to get it. But of course you couldn't get a IPL with wood trim. Still boggles my mind. But If it's anything like the 2022 Camry i drove then i can see why. It was horrible. Takes way too long to get back up to speed and leaves too much of a distance between the car in front, inviting people to cut in front of you.

You didn’t have to get the wood trim to have the Technology Package. I know you had to get all the other packages before you could get the Technology Package but that’s my point. If you had enough money to get all the other packages then why wouldn’t you get the last one also. It was the cheapest at just over $1,000. I wouldn’t think an extra $1,000 would break someone who could afford all the other packages.

Have you ever seen a G37 with the Tech package that had aluminum trim?

Pretty sure that's because the Sport Package (appearance or otherwise), and the 6MT sub-model, only came with the aluminum finish trim.

Similarly, only the Black leather and Stone leather interiors were configured for the Sport Package. Wheat wasn't an option.

I've seen them with aluminum trim. In fact most are like that when you can find them.
