My2008g37 is new to me I’ve got questions please feedback

Hi everybody! I just bought a 08 g37 coupe.
very clean,87,000miles so I was wondering 2
things about the car. Firstly it’s quick so I kinda step on it a few times a day is that bad for it or can that drivetrain handle the abuse or should I
baby it,?
second,is there a good aftermarket chip that will better map the fuel??

How tough is the hr engine really?

Hi everybody I got an 08G 37 with 80,000 miles on it wondering is it OK to step on it a few times a day or not how tough is the engine I mean the powers are in everything I just wanna wear it out can I wear it out really easy or Nah. And I was also wondering are there any light good fuel mapping chips I can get that will improve do you know the gas mileage and whatever else that may go with that? I really appreciate your feedback I mean this thing really feels kind of like a race car is it really built that well so curious any feedback would be awesome thank you

Everything is relative, but the G is not a race car by any stretch of the imagination. Just like any car, don't abuse redline, and operate with good tires and brakes. But of course you san step on it. If you can enjoy your car when you drive it, I mean... that's why you have it, right?

There are no "chips" applicable to this platform, but you can have the car tuned. Go read up in the ECU Tuning forum: https://www.myg37.com/forums/ecu-tuning-dyno-data-409/

Welcome to the forum, OP.

Welcome, but asking the same question in different posts won't really help you much. I hope you've at least changed all the fluids (oil/filter, tranny, diff, brake and radiator) in your G37 with high quality fluids BEFORE you start pushing it. 87K is not high to degrade performance if the factory maintenance has been followed.

As mentioned in the other thread, there are NO aftermarket chips for this car. The software is far too advanced, but can be reprogrammed by a tune.
