Hello, I am new
Hello, I am new, I do stuff with cars.
A guy I worked with always brought his G35 to me for repairs. From simply test driving the car after repairs/maintenance, seeing how hard he drove it with almost no issues, I fell in love.
Fast forward a few years it was time for a new car. I googled things landing on an article detailing that fastest AWD sedans for under $10,000, and there was the G37X sedan. Did some googles about reliability, almost bought a Lexus IS something or another but finally accepted that I've always wanted a G, and they're less money, and faster, so here I am.
I've owned the car for about a year+, bought it with 142,000 for $6,999 (not $7000) It's been literally the best (daily driver) car I've ever owned... not much competition, tho.
I've only had to put front struts in, which I actually did yesterday. The removed struts were OEM... there isn't a strut out there that isn't tired after 160k miles, 100% maintenance item imo.
Fun stuff, just a 24.5mm rear sway from a 370z, drop in K&N's + them silicone intake tubes mainly as a preemptive repair as I hear the G35's intake tubes tended to rip/crack after awhile, plus the stuff was used and cheap.
Only complaints, bluetooth/navi and the weird lack of throttle response while turning and flooring it... Infiniti seems to have an update for that, I'm too stubborn to pay someone to fix my car.... maybe one day.
Anyway, it's a 2011 red sedan Journey X... apparently red is rare??? I dunno, some guy just told me that, maybe maybe not? Wasn't my first choice but the price was right.
Thanks for reading

Welcome to the site. I cant speak on the rareness of Red, but you have a great car. My '13 X sedan is by far the favorite vehicle I have owned. You will have a great time and will enjoy the regular maintenance that comes with it (I know I have).
