So as I’ve seen from the threads it’s usually a pillar leak or so And only from the front side of the car. My 2013 g sedan had a pretty big leak on the front and back of the passenger side. When I opened up the carpet it was coming down that drain tube from the second pic and I saw water droplets coming down by the glove box in that white outline I made. Im assuming that drain tube leads to the driver’s side? I don’t know much and I don’t really want to deal with it since my schedule is tight, does anybody know how prices are at infinity for this?
The black drain tube in the second pic is the AC evaporator drain. Minor condensation when the AC is running is normal especially if you live in a hot/ humid area. It might be wise to make sure water is dripping out from underneath the car when the AC is on just to make sure that drain is not clogged.
Any water dripping from your glove box area is indicative of a sunroof drain leak or a windshield cowl leak. There are tons of threads about this issue and possible repair paths. Just research the forum here and go from there. Here is a link from a fellow forum member who just dealt with the sunroof issue.
Check your cabin air filter. If it is wet, then your issue is likely the windshield cowl seal that is failing. Again, plenty of threads about this issue was well.
Don't waste your time with the stealership. Even if they decided to properly repair the problem, they will charge you a few arms and legs in labor costs just to replace a $6 part.
