Probably a dumb question...

Are aftermarket LSDs car specific? I'm pretty sure yes... but I couldn't really find a definite answer anywhere. Reason I ask is a car I'm parting out has a Quaife LSD that'd be nice to throw in my non-sport if possible.

Yes they are. They have bearings which have to fit in your diff
