Hi guys! I just bought a G 2 months ago, and the transmission is really pissing me off. So lets say youre turning a corner in a high gear, then you go between 1/4 throttle and 2/3 to re accelerate. The car refuses downshift, bogs, then downshifts like 4 seconds later. Never does it in manual mode. Also, when the car is started first thing in the morning, it drives well for 4-8 minutes. then when the trans gets up to temp, it hunts for 7th, bogs constantly, and has rough upshifts almost like TC shudder. Any help would be just amazing. Flushed ATF last month, has all the updates according to Infinity of Dayton. I hope this car lasts and is okay, ive had too many problems in the past. made me have vehicular ptsd haha

 

Do the ecu relearn

 

Ive done this as well.
Total things done
1. Update re applied January
2.ECU reset January
3. Idle relearn January
4. ATF flushed January
5. Throttle bodies and Mafs cleaned by dealer, only took 40 minutes for some reason
6. Injector cleaner febuary

 

Did you do the relearn after the trans fluid change?

I just did my throttle body cleaning this afternoon since its 50 degrees in chicago today. Took me almost 2 hours cause I did it right not just sprayed some cleaner while the throttle body connected to the intake which Im sure is the way dealers do it.

 

Hmm no I didn't know that was a thing that needed to be done, ill add that to my list. Is ir just the pedal dance or an actual relearn?
