Hey everyone I'm new and excited to be a part of the forum. I have a 2009 G37X sedan. Looking to scrap the 225/55/17's (after the tire needs replacing) and looking to upgrade to a 275/45/17 on all 4. I know it is doable for rears, but my concern is the fronts.
Any help or advice is much appreciated
Welcome to the site. As far as that size tire, depends on the wheel width & offset. If it is similar to the OEM 17x7.5" wheel w/ a +45 offset a 235 width is the widest I would run on that width. For a 275 you really should be running a 9" wide. If you live in an area where you need snow tires or have a lot of freezing weather I'd keep those 17s for a winter set and get new wheels & tires for the other time of year.

I live in California the worst we get is rain and we don't see much. I go to Tahoe sometimes but like twice a year. I would be getting lighter and wider rims. I'm thinking of a 10"-10.5 rim to accommodate a 275-285 tire but I want the same tire on all 4 wheels. Just have never seen anything larger than a 265 up front and on a g37 coupe rwd.
