G37s?

Hello everyone, just finished owning a 325ci 2004, looking to get into a g37 coupe and just wanted to know how reliable and how expensive maintence can be on these G's compared to my 3 series? Especially after 100k miles

These cars are extremely strong and reliable with regular maintenance in my opinion. I can almost guarantee EVERYTHING maintenance wise will be cheaper than a BMW. I say go for it and make the right/smart choice!

Welcome to the site DJ, what Kenny said^^^ Also if you can budget for a 2012 or newer that's even better as they have the updated timing gasket which is a nice plus.

Thanks for the replies, is the issue from 08s-2011s with the timing gasket a serious problem? I did read a post around here about that issue. Anyways, my 3 series was very costly, I can imagine perhaps brakes and tires will be more expensive for the G. Is there anything I should look out for when checking one out? I see some in the 79k-100k range go for a decent price

The timing gasket has occurred enough that it needs to be mentioned. It's not real common but when it does start to leak it costs upwards of $2k to repair as a lot of critical parts need to be removed to R&R that gasket.
