I just installed my HKS CBE and I noticed the gains are very minimal, can't really tell toomuch difference from stock. I am also hearing a high frequency sound, like a ring on idle underneath the car after the install. Is this normal, or do I have an exhaust leak?


My plan is to get a HFC and a tune after, maybe an intake. Based on your experiences, is the catback gains very minimal until paired with a hfc? Should I just tune it after catback and hfc? Or add an intake as well? Is the Gen3 intake worth the $500 to add?


I am worried about the idle sound though. Please help.

I'm going for rhfc route for the sound I like with the HKS. So do you agree that the catback needs the hfc to wake up?
