Gains?

I have a stillen gen 3 intake and stillen headers on my 08 coupe. I am adding a tanabe y pipe as well as a custom magnaflow exhaust. I was wondering what hp/ torque gains I can expect overall with all of them. Not looking for an exact number just an estimate.

Short of someone having that exact setup, it's impossible to guess what you started with and where you're going to end up. I don't imagine your horsepower gains will be that high, given the fact that you seem to still be running the stock catalytic converters.

I would be surprised if you were gaining even 15 horsepower with just a catback, headers, and intake.

I recommend getting a baseline dyno before the install, and one afterwards, if rwhp is the sort of thing that is important to you.

Welcome to the forum, btw. This sub forum isn't really the best place to get your question answered. You should ask the mods to move it to the exhaust thread maybe.

Thanks for the help guys. I checked the dumps for all of them and my intake says 30 hp my headers said 15 and the exhaust is custom so I don't know but I just got my car back today and this thing pulls a lot differently now! Couldn't be happier with the setup except for how loud it is. I'm going to get it muffled a bit today

That's not how it works, if intakes advertise 30 horsepower, first off, that number is bull****. I've never seen an intake boost your car 30 horsepower, not even if it's gold plated and caressed by beautiful women.

However, 10hp intakes + 10 horsepower headers do not equal 20 horsepower at the wheels. It isn't linear.

AAAhh yes ricer addition works everytime. Haven't you seen the 80hp turbonator? Anyways yes you can get 30hp out of an intake if you have a 5.0 mustang with a bama tune. But not our cars.
