Just purchased 2010 G37X Sedan. 30,000 miles. Has original Goodyears tires. Last night driving over 70mph on smooth asphalt I heard loud growl (road noise). Dropped off under 60. Is this the tires? I plan to replace in next 5,000 miles. Any recommendations?

More than likely it would be the tires, 30k is getting close to the end and those Goodyear RS-As are a truly horrible tire. I replaced my RS-As before my first oil change on my 09 they were that bad
Whatever you do get a different tire
Also check for proper tread wear, your alignment may be off and that could be a factor in the road noise you're hearing.

Thanks. Plan to put on either Hankook Ventus S1 or Bridgestone Turenza Serenty Plus. Had Hankook Ventus V4 on 2008 G35 I used to have. They were pretty good. These are supposed to be better. Ranked at the top for Ultra High Perf on TireRack. Any other suggestions or feedback
