Cool Hey from CLeveland

Hello, I guess I'm not much of a newbie since I've been a member and G37 owner for over a year now. I bought this beautiful red g37S coupe almost by accident. was pretty much an impulse buy and don't regret it a bit. I see this car as a great blessing and the greatest thing I've ever owned. I've done a great deal amount of work to it (complete engine rebuild). I'm completely satisfied with the stock look but had to put some of my own little mods to perfect the look.

Mods I've Installed
- 1/2'' spacers on every wheel
- Tien Lowering springs
- Came with partial tinted windows so I'll finish the look.

Mods to be done
- carbon fiber defuser on rear bumper
- 20" gunmetal rims (put winter tires on stock wheels and use them in winter and look classy all year round)
- possible full trunk spoiler (Carbon Fiber also
- 6mt conversion

That's the plan off the top of my head and If any one has or knows of pictures with the red G37 coupe with gunmetal rims and can show me, I'd very much appreciate that. I'm sure it looks amazing, just want to see anyway.

My friend is a professional photographer and with such a photogenic vehicle we couldn't help but take amazing pictures!

Enjoy

Great looking Coupe, awesome quality photos too! Wouldn't it be cheaper to find a 6mt rather than convert yours? As nice as your coupe looks I think switching over would cost a bundle (unless you offset enough of the cost selling your 7AT perhaps). At any rate, great look this far and look forward to future mods!

Thanks everybody!

Regarding the trans conversion, I'm currently reviewing all my options and pricing. Which is looking to be pretty pricey. I guess it all depends on if I can find a good deal.

I just went by a very reputable shop in Houston and asked about converting my 7AT to 6MT, his first response was "are you high?"

He made a pretty compelling argument for staying 7at. Eventually I got him to quote me around 3500 for the swap, parts + labor.

Unfortunately for me I have an 08 and they come with the 5AT. If I had the 7AT i probably would think twice about the swap but I really much rather have the 6MT. I have a few tricks up my sleeve that might make this work. I guess we'll have to wait and see how this fans out. Ill definitely keep you all up to date.

I also might start a build thread and show all the work I've done to this baby so far!
