G37s AE

Just took her home last Friday, shipped from FL.

Wife and I were looking at acquiring a nice sedan, ended up with this. I initially resisted the idea of a G37, afraid that it would closely resemble a 370z that we have, and that I would want something different. This car feels very different, but still has the same grunt, and wife loves it!

Congrats and welcome but to think that the G37 would resemble the 370Z is funny, Not even close. (Body style wise) Now you have two great sports cars.

The front lip and the interior were the things that attracted wife and I. Loving the color combo.

Haha yea, look very different, I just meant handling, power, engine sound, even the start button and the key fob.

The Z is a nismo, so it's the most bare bone one feature wise and manual only. Sitting in the G is just night and day. G is a better mix of refinement and raw grunt, and nothing in the G reminds me of the Z, so works out great!

Test drove some other cars, lower and similar price range, wife wasn't impress by either lack of power or giving up features she wanted. G fits the bill quite perfectly. Best of all, I don't have to relearn everything, lots of stuff I already learned from the Z.

My profile has pic, here is one.

Thanks. It's a fun car to toss around. It's out of action this week for a little suspension and chassis work, can't wait to get it back.

Thx sik37

Spent about 4 hrs last night cleaning her last night, hand washed, light coat of wax, cleaned wheel wells, conditioned the leather seats. Now I'm just waiting for weathertech to come in, then really decide how much area to clearbra.

Being that it's wife' s car, I think I will do full front, roof and rear deck. But seriously, I wish I can CB the whole darn thing...
