Just drove home my new 12 g37s sedan this evening. Liquid platinum, prem w/Nav. Glad I found this forum. I can see that I will get a lot of good info. Have had Hondas all my life but love cars and love to drive fast so I finally decided to bite the bullet. Time to get what I want.

So, hello all. Oh, and, uh...I read on a thread that it's not good to open her up and just bolt when it's new. Didn't know that. How bad should I bang my head against the wall and what kind of time period/miles do I have to wait before I can see what she can do?

Congrats, great upgrade! There's def a break in period for the car, forgot what it was exactly. Other's here probably know.

Welcome to the forum and congrats. Break in is 1100 miles. Read the manual, it's in there. Also read the forum rules since you're new. I'm presuming you didn't know that posting street racing/dangerous driving stuff is not allowed, so the first one is free. Be aware of it in the future though. Hopefully you don't live or drive where I do.

 

I hear the speed tax at 115 mph can be quite high too.
