N00b to the board ...
What's good fellas, new 2011 g37xS owner (Philly area) here just checkin out the rides/board. Upgraded from a 2001 Ford Explorer, so definitely a huge change for me!
I see a lot of valuable info is in here, so thanks in advance for the tips and advice. Not sure if I'll do any modding, but I'm sure I'll be influenced to do so lol! First task is to get that tint. Any recommendations on what's a good ratio?

Regarding tint I went 5%. Yes I have been pulled over once but it was downtown where cops were basically stopping each car leaving the strip looking for something to pull them to the side for to give sobriety checks. No ticket btw. But anyways 5% on a coupe does suck at night going around unknown corners but looks sweet and keeps the car cool during the summer. If I were you I would go 10-15%. Its not nearly as bad as the average joe would think.
As far as mods, I'm not sure if you want to keep the stock look of your car or just do not want to make your car seem "teened out" but I would def paint your grille (leave the emblem silver) with that color I promise you will love it and it makes the car look a whole lot cleaner

The Pennsylvania tint law is basically 70% all around and nothing on the windshield. I admit that’s not much but 5% on any window is just asking for trouble. You won’t be able to see for a damn at night and you’re just inviting being pulled over constantly during the day.

Thanks all for the suggestions. As far as painting the grille, I've been searching the board on DIY, my question is would I need to paint it black or matching color as car? Seems like if using plasti-dip only color choice would be black. If that is the case, would also have to do the rims ...
