Advice

Hey Guys

It's time for me to trade in my current ride, '06 350 SLK 6MT but I am torn between either a 08/09 G37S or a 08/09 A5 or a new Genesis coupe. They all fall into my budget range, $30k but I just cannot decide which one would be better.
Does anyone here regret ever buying a G37 AT ? If you had to do it again would you still buy a G37.

Let me be the first to reply. I have a 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track Model. I'm trading it with 14,xxx miles on it for an Infiniti G37 IPL next spring. Why, because its a hyundai, through and through. 3 transmissions, creeks and non-flush parts, bent hood from factory, and I will go on. Do yourself a favor and cross that off the list.

I have a coworker who has a Hynundai Genesis, and although it's not bad, it's not even close to the G37 or the Audi (interior, fit and finish, performance). I have a 2011 G37 with the automatic and love it, would definitely buy it again. If you are looking used, you can probably get a bit newer / lower mileage on the G37 compared to the Audi.

I would do it all again in a heart beat..........I think the Genesis has come along way but it still has a long way to go. I hate Audi from past experiences but they are doing good things with their cars. I still won't consider them but that shouldn't hold others back. Take genesis off your list and test drive the other two and see what you think.

the genesis's bodystyle is slick, but the quality of parts just can't come ANYwhere close to Infiniti/Nissan

G37S would be my choice. A5 is underpowered and the hyundai is not nearly as good quality wise IMO.

I've had my 2010 G coupe for a almost a year and love it! (And as a old fart, I've owned a lot of cars over the years.) Hyundai does not have the reputation or class of the Infiniti. And I got rid of both a BMW & VW within the last year and will never buy German again. (At least until I win the lottery and can afford the maintenance & repairs.)

Thanks Guys, this is just what I was looking for. I agree about the Genesis, looks are slick but.....it's a Hyundai

I'm going to test drive a G37 this weekend to see if it "fits" me - you know, it has to feel right...

I know what you mean, that's how I ended up with the Merc. I wasn't disappointed though and from what I've seen so far with the rides you guys have I'm sure I'll be happy with a G37S.

Don't flame me though, I'm looking for an AT.. it's time to get a bit lazy
